As we enter the month of November, the month of gratitude, I want to express my gratitude to my family, friends, colleagues, and all the readers of my books, most especially the most recent novella, Peaceful Waters.
Yes, it is a love letter from Fen to Donovan, her friend and lover she lost to suicide. It is also a story of gratitude, for while Fen wrestles with Donovan's decision, she also reawakens to her own inner strength and to the kindness of others. She emerges thankful for the gift of life and for the happy memories that will always be hers.
Be kind to yourself and to others. A smile, no matter how tentative at first, is always a gracious gift to pass along. A little dance goes a long way too!
