People often ask me why I travel and am I not afraid when I do. Travel is seeing life in all its many aspects, yes good and bad. Am I afraid? Never. Life does not frighten me. To allow new places to widen my perspectives, to inform my understandings, and to open my heart, that is the essence of why I travel. That is why the characters in my books travel. That is why I believe everyone should take that first step outside of their neighborhood and see the world around them.
