The simple act of breathing can tell us a lot about how we are coping. If our breath is too shallow, we need to take some time to assess what may be causing this shortness of breath. It could very well be triggered by the craziness of some event or circumstance in our lives. Holding your breath is another survival response.
So let's inhale deeply no matter what troubles are invading life around us. Let's keep breathing deeper and slower for a few moments. Use your breath to clear your mind, your heart, your spirit. Take a walk, stop to dance, smile a whole lot, and breathe deeply and slowly.
