Old age should be a time for both relaxation and exploration. It most certainly should be a time for joy. For far too many of our elderly, however, it is less than joyful. It is a time when infirmities, inequalities, and isolation lead to injury to body, mind, and spirit. Read the novella, Beyond the Moon and the Heartache Too, for a timely, cautionary tale that is repeated every day, but seldom spoken of. Check in with your elderly neighbors and acquaintances and bring the joy of wonder into their lives. Make sure they are happy, safe, well, and at peace. And, if not, you will know what to do and how to bring beauty back into their lives.
Offering only joy from the Diva,

And don't forget to thank our veterans this next week!
